A proper understanding of the history and current status of the problem annulus is key to planning a successful application.

 

Depth of cement tops, effluent types, build-up and bleed down rates, and MAWOP/MAASP will determine the type of application, either lube and bleed or fluid swap. 

 

More detailed diagnostics including reviews of cement reports, bond logs, echometers, leak rate measurements, adjacent annuli responses and effluent composition analyses will all aid in optimising the wellsite operation.
